    They will do that . . .
    Animals: We once had a sweet little cat who, late one dark night, dragged a huge mockingbird into the house–brought it through an open window that was four feet above the ground.
    She took her prey into the dining room and ate it. Next morning we found feathers. No beak, no feet. Kitty cat was asleep, and my son was saying, “Awww, Mom!” And then he had to go to school and I had to go to work . . .

    I didn’t know that coyotes can catch birds in midair and eat them Glad beautiful Charlie didn’t get sick by eating that poor bird
