Between Charlie’s glowing gold color, the faint rainbow appearing in the sky behind him and the proximity to St. Patrick’s Day…the could have been titled Shreve’s Pot of Gold!

    Just beautiful!

Incredibly beautiful…the picture and the dream it creates in my mind. I have followed you for years and love what you have done with your blog/website. Today is my first visit in over a year. I just retired and am trying to find a way to relocate to Santa Fe, or perhaps Cody, Wyoming. I am exhausted by living in the east. I dream of the peacefulness your evocative photos and narratives suggest.

All my best to you, Charlie and your other “children.”

Right on, Jack. For now I just have to live vicariously. I spent 3 nights camping in Cody back in 1985. It was over the 4th of July and we shot fireworks, saw the parade, and took in a rodeo. Me and the GF (now wife) were headed to Glacier Nat. Park on vacation from Chicago. We talk fondly of doing that trip again.

BTW, Charlie is awesome as usual.

Saw the book in a gift shop at the Denver airport, picked it up and didn’t put it down til I was finished. Loved every word, picture, and feeling it evoked. I want a Charlie! You make a great Mom and Charlie is an amazing and beautiful boy. Thanks for helping me remember what’s important in life!
