   Such amazing detail here: the subtle shadings of his fur, his alert but relaxed posture. And of course that incomparable tongue ;)

   @Anne W: don’t be too alarmed at Eli’s apparent absence. As Shreve has said before, he *hates* to be photographed. She’s generously shared every major event she and the Farmily have been through over the years. So if Eli isn’t pictured or mentioned, that likely means things are *normal* :D

   Welcome back home. I know how you feel about the road….I have it in my blood.But then it dawns on me that THIS ( my desert) is where I belong, it helps me enjoy the outside world as something exiting and new because I am not living in that world anymore, so I see it differentely…118 degrees, up at dawn and then, inside until about 11 pm….Let the fun begin !!!!
