My dog does the same thing Charlie is doing. I’ll go in the kitchen and look out the back and he’s sitting on the stoop, just looking.

I often wonder what he is thinking as he sits there, just watching.

    yay

He’s looking for something to chase maybe. Or he’s just surveying his kingdom. OR ….seeing that he is a Male….he is not thinking about anything (that’s what they claim isn’t it)

I live in Central California, so green landscapes are never taken for granted. Even though the seasonal changes here are hardly dramatic. Our green is gone for the year, alas. And the drought is far from over.

I lived in the southwestern desert (southern Nevada), where the seasons are not at all dramatic, except for the summer heat. But there is a burst of color in the Spring, including green! I have property out in the desert, and was often serenaded by a family of coyotes.

This beautiful pic reminds me of one of my all-time faves of Charlie: he’s a lil pup, sitting in front of the truck in this same pose, mesmerized by the view. I believe it’s titled “Watching the Sunset,” and you made the print available not too long ago and still have it available on canvas in The Shop. I adore that picture. I was hooked by the first pic-and-post I saw here, and when I saw that precious coyo pup immersed in the view, it was game, set and match for me. I’ve been all-in ever since.

Gorgeous colors! JC – I agree – isn’t the pup pic so adorable?
