I love this! Charlie is the same age as my Schipperke, Oliver, and I never miss a day. Charlie has a charmed life, and I think our Schips do, too. I dig the parallels and totally get the differences. Oliver filled the gap when I put down my first Schip, Gretchen, who had an incurable cancer. I cried myself to sleep for 6+ weeks because I knew I had so few days with her. Oliver, dubbed the Prince of Chaos by our trainer, has more than filled that void. I’m happy you’ve had so many years with Charlie. Despite his shedding, I know he delights you with his quirky antics, as does my Oliver.
