Behind The Scenes

There is much to share.  Much to share because much has gone on, which is the precise reason nothing has been shared…. a vicious whirlpool, one that has been exceedingly frustrating.  I’ve not even posted pictures or stories of Frisco - but I have many, do not fear!

A few weeks ago, I sent out this twitter, joking about my angst: I need an assistant! But I can’t even offer room & board, only a camp trailer named the Psychedelic Jellybean & an unlimited supply of milk!”

And in the next instant, replies started pouring in via email, twitter replies, and on facebook, the most hilarious being: “I can only afford $10/hour…if you want more than that, maybe I could do some chores around the place.”

It was one of those things that made me go “hmmm…” and the next day I put an application of sorts on a secret page of my site (you can see it here) and posted the link only on twitter and facebook.  I got about 100 responses in two days.  They were sincere and beautiful and an honor to read.  And I wanted everyone to come.

Luckily, I didn’t have to choose.  One simply was. One particular person was IT.  This wasn’t due to any specific answers in her application but rather something I felt energetically.  Her name is Sarah Frary, she’s 23, she’s a fantastic artist - click here to see her work - and she’ll be here before the month is out!

I feel as though I’ve been released from a fairy-tale coma just knowing she is on her way.  The overwhelm I’ve been sinking under is retreating; creativity and enthusiasm are rushing in to fill its place, sweeping me up and along, buoying me.  Hooray.

Posts and pictures of Frisco & Co and more are coming soon.  Thank you so, so much for the patience and compassion you have shown me ~ it has been a gift, and makes me want to share with you even more….
here’s a preview…..

Frisco, ten days old.
