Very nice picture of Charlie. Great capture of his eyes. Would be a great photo in a larger format or even a bigger file size.

Beautiful study of soft and sharp.
The expression on his face and in his eyes (!) is breathtakingly dear. After he looks at you like this, does he pop up and kiss your face? When my cat looks at me this way, my face gets a thorough tongue-sanding.

This is such a crisp and clear shot. Truly worth a thousand words. I have a similar one of my German Shepherd and its amazing how they can talk to us without saying a word.

Lovely picture! Is “isosoles” a DC in-joke like “elf leg” or is Charlie just an isosceles coyote?

Charlie! Shreve called you a triangle-head!!

I love this shot. Charlies eyes are such a beautiful color.
His ears remind me of a fox’s ears. My husband and I raised a marble fox when we lived in NY, and her ears and face were shaped the same way.

Charlie, you are Mesmerizing with those eyes…
Incredible photo!

in another life other than with you, being the shamanic lil trickster that he is, his eyes would dart away and so would he. it’s cool here to see him focus only on you because his eyes often look very wild and a bit nuts. his fur color is amazing. in domestic animals the coloration is by design but in wild animals you see the color nature intends. great photo.

Fantastic.

Love the photo! It is great. But what makes this picture even greater is the title.

The eyes, The eyes have it !!! ( that’s all I have to say)

I love so many of your photos, but I think this one is definitely in my “top 5”! <3

looks somehow like quintessential coyote to me – and such real communication. My basenji would give me looks like that, and he looked so wild in those moments. So beautiful on many levels. A picture to cherish.

Beautiful creature. Love the eyes and the raised brow. Makes him look very wise.
