Charlie is such a regal fella :) I’m in the middle of reading The Daily Coyote right now and want to tell you how much I’m enjoying it. I especially love the attention you gave to Charlie’s natural coyote temperament. I think it’s important that people who don’t know any better don’t go out and get a coyote puppy to raise. I’m a German Shepherd mom and even though they’re certainly not coyotes, in the hands of someone who is not willing to put a lot of work into them, they can be terrors and/or even dangerous. We have coyotes in the rural area of MS where I live but certainly not to the extent that you do. Deer and hog hunters kill them frequently…just for being there. :( There are, of course, no laws (that I know of) to control coyote killing.
