what a beautiful picture – I love the pose and his hind leg just moving forward. I see how thick his coat is and I wonder what the winter will be bringing you out there!

To anyone. Why does a coyote have such thick fur on his tail? It doesn’t seem to be as thick on the rest of his body. Just curious.

Such poise; an image that highlights his balance and flexibility. I can just see his ancestors twisting almost 360 degrees to snatch up prey that was sure that coyote couldn’t turn that fast…
