B ~ I was about to type “nope”, but then I remembered he did go on a little walkabout when he was maybe 2 years old? Only for an hour or so, and it was in the winter so Mike and I were able to track him. He led us in a loop around the BLM (public land) behind the house and right back home – when we caught up to him, he was on the porch :)

A person in his homeland :D.
I love how he looks so at ease, yet alert, and the orange-red light over him, the grass, the earth.

Beautiful shot. Love the deep orange and browns and Charlie’s thick coat blending so well with his surroundings. He’s so regal-looking here – has a Lion King thing going on.

Do you ever miss trees?
As always top-notch pictures you snap. Still digging a picture entitled “Joy” from last month or so.

He is so gorgeous in his wonderful homeland.
*I love the story of his little walkabout. What fun to track him and know his thoughts through his paw prints! Wondering if you still take him (and Eli sometimes and Chloe?) on the excursions around your place there. They were such fun to read about.
