It is amazing that it’s been 12 years since I first came across Charlie’s amazing story and journey with you! He is stunning, thank you for sharing so much with us. I’m sorry to say I have not followed as closely in recent years , is Eli the cat still with you?

In the newer Charlie book, IIRC, Shreve mentions that Eli went off into the woods at some point and wasn’t seen after, but that there had been the clear sense that Eli was nearing the end of his days.
