   I love the ripple in his nose. Saw a coyote last night while on a run that looked like he had stuck is tail and jaw in white paint. He was beaufiful and very healthy, and as always, I thought of you and Charlie.

   Your photos sometimes prove to me that those old cartoonists (Wiley Coyote) really did study the animal.

   Lovely snapshot of mood, Shreve. His posture and expression are definitely signaling, “Mine, mine, mine! Won’t share!”

   I am so, so, envious of you! Being able to share the daily life, the emotions and have the ability to photograph such a wonderful animal.
   When I go to Yellowstone NP (And I do several times each year), one of my very favorite subjects to photograph is the coyote. They are simply an amazing creature.
   I would love to share an image of one that I shot on Antelope Island State park, Utah, but I don’t know how to get it to you. I actually loved it so much I printed it and hung it above my computer.
   I love these guys!
