Looks like they are saying “What ‘cha doin’ inside? It’s beautiful out here!”

  2. Dana Says:

How much are those puppies in the window?

Charlie looks very domesticated in a lot of the pics and this is one of the best examples. I know he certainly shows signs of his wild origins but we never hear of any examples. Shreve, if you have time maybe you can list the ways that Charlie has been domesticated and also the signs he is still definitely a wild animal. Another great pic.

T ~ There’s quite a bit on that in the Q&A section, see link in nav bar above, and of course in the book!

  5. Diana Says:

This is the absolute BEST picture of the two of them in a while…..LOVE IT

  6. Roxie Says:

@Dana — I think the answer is: Priceless!

I just put down “The Daily Coyote” a few minutes ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it–thank you! My dilemma now is whether to share it or greedily keep it for myself (I’m leaning toward the latter–that way I’ll still get a chance to reread it, and you’ll make another sale when I tout it to my friends).

Incidentally, I drove out to Wyoming this September. What a remarkable, magical place–I look forward to returning. My only regret is that it took me 49 years to experience it for the first time.

Best wishes to you in 2014!

Thanks for the reply with info Shreve. I sure hope you write a follow up to The Daily Coyote just because I find your Farmily dynamics extremely interesting.

Barked a laugh when I saw this. Can’t stand it it’s so striking and so cute. Charlie’s lips in the sun, Chloe’s sideways glance and that ear. Still laughing.

p.s. – gave some of the notepads I ordered as Christmas gifts – recipients love ’em.
