I don’t know what it is, but I LOVE animals (and dogs especially) when they’re SO wiped out like this. <3

Oh, dear! I live with an Australian Cattle Dog who blows her coat twice a year. I feel your pain. :)

I like it that sometimes Charlie naps on a soft bed of grasses, on the warm red Wyo dirt or under a tree… or on a mattress embellished with pink cabbage roses. Such a well-rounded life our Charlie leads.

I am always curious as to the timing of Charlie’s shedding….why does it seem so late in summer to me? I would think he would be done shedding by August.

I think this is the first time I’ve noticed a weekly showing up later as a daily – I love it and I’m glad everyone is seeing it!!!!!! Yay!!!!

I used to have a mixed-breed who was 1/4 wolf. She had a full 3 coats, and when she shed it looked a lot like that, we’d joke it was time to build more dogs.

The birds seemed to like brushing time, though – nest liners for days!

    snuggles, Charlie!

Too bad coyotes can’t be sheared like sheep, both of you would probably be more comfortable:) And be the creative type, I’m betting you’d come up with something wonderful to do with his fur.

Wow. That really shows the difference between is fluffy winter coat and his sleek summer coat.

I’m surprised he still has any winter coat left, even in July.

Does he let you Furminate him? My parents’ dog loves it.

I have 4 cats and a dog and they have only just quit shedding. The barns full of fluff.
So Charlie stay cool its a great day.

I just want to sit there and pull out the tufts…. I have a double-coat dog and it’s the most satisfying thing to pull out the large tufts of hair when she is blowing her coat.
