It is so wonderful to hear, in their own words, how looking at our adorable Charlie creates so much peace and happiness for people. Sitting here now, I not only have the picture, the poetic thought brought to us by a beautiful, generous person and artist and friend Shreve, and the response of sweet statements of peace and enjoyment. I feel as though you who speak are my neighbors. To quote another fine person who had just the right words, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.”
