   A funny moment. Looks at first glance menacing, then you see other cues that he’s not stressed: ears not all the way back, teeth not bared.

   W ~ actually, with coyotes (Charlie, at least) ears back is submissive and docile. They are fully forward when he’s feeling antagonistic or aggressive. They’re also forward when he’s calm! But they are never back when he’s grouchy.
