I recommend two books to you, no matter your beliefs. Beautiful poetry of what the prayers of animals might be.
Prayers from the Ark and The Creatures Choir by Carmen Bernos de Gasztold, translated by Rumer Godden
I picked up Prayers from the Ark in a little used bookstore about 40 years ago for $1. I couldn’t resist the poems and the simple, monochromatic illustrations. The poems so match the personalities of the animals. The butterfly with ADD. The loyalty of the dog. The resignation of the donkey. No prayer from the coyote.
