How high do you need to build your fence to keep Charlie in?

This pic has an old time vibe to it. It looks as if this is the pioneer days and a coyote was lucky enough to find a dry spot out of the rain. I guess this is all true except you are not in the pioneer era. He is such a handsome boy. I wonder what is going through his coyote brain?!

I got the same impression as Colleen from this picture. Charlie looks huge in that window! Nice pic.

I’m not sure you’ve ever lived until you’ve had a coyote watch the rain IN your living room window…
There is no more luscious aroma than rain on dry earth; I can only imagine how Charlie is able to soak it all up with that industrial sized proboscis.
All beautifully golden… except for those marvelous lips and that precious gumdrop nose.

This is SUCH a gorgeous shot! I love your photography…and of course your subjects. Glad Eli is doing well. Sometimes I worry about him being out cruising. Hope you and the creatures have a great holiday season.

How much is that lacas in the window… A prarie pearl beyond price, I know :)
@Jenny C: the smell of the first few minutes of a shower on dry earth / asphalt is marvelous, I agree. It makes me think of Treebeard the Ent in The Fellowship of the Ring: “I used to spend a week, just breathing!”

What do you make your coyote enclosure out of? How about the temporary one up on the mountain?
