   You MUST get C. another octopus for Christmas! He had so much fun with that toy but then again not that female C in on the scene it might not go so well.

   I am green re your comment of lying with Eli, I used to love spending time with my cats like that, nothing more soothing than the sound of purring, even better if it’s raining outside.

   your pictures show him to be so happy with his life. does he have any idea he is supposed to be a carnivorous predator?

   @rwd: I get what you’re saying, but carnivores definitely enjoy being what they are. All the cats I’ve known were at least as happy slowly playing some poor prey to death as they were laying in my lap being stroked.
