I am sure he is thanking his god for the life he was given. Thank you, Shreve, for not only saving him but sharing him with us.

So spiritual! Who says animals don’t have souls!!!

I am a deeply spiritual person who believes all life shares a link with the Creator, and that animals stand closer to Him than we usually take the time to do. . . . But he’s lookin’ at bacon, isn’t he?

I wish you had a print available for PRAYER, from this May. I rescue old, abandoned and ailing dogs. Consequently, I have to say goodbye to many. There’s a grace and a purity in an old dog which I see in Charlie and other rescued wild animals. I’ve not been able to explain it; it’s just there. The last dog I had to say goodbye to had been with me over two years. In his last moments he said thank you, I love you and it’s okay in an unmistakable fashion. The vet was blown away and said she and other vets see that on very RARE occasion and it never fails to amaze them and give them pause. Animals are so much more than we give them credit for. But you already know that. Thanks for the picture PRAYER. I’d like to at least print it out, have it framed and hang it in my home, if that’s okay with you. It’s a good reminder that animals have souls (as in the Book of Genesis).
