Some moments *are* forever, even when they pass. This puts me in mind of holding my cat on the back deck after work, looking at our reflections in the door window and promising him to never take this for granted. And I never did.
Another time, I found myself almost in touching range with wild dolphins while surfing, right at sunset. The colors on the water, the incredible grace and power of their presence… I wanted so much for it to last more than the moments I knew it would. And in a very real sense it has.

What a peaceful picture. The colors are gorgeous. Charlie looks so “at home”. You can feel the tranquility of this picture .
